Honey Comb Experience

The Honey Comb Experience is an attraction to promote the importance of bees. Globally there are more types of honey bees than other types of bee and pollinating insects which makes it the most prominent and important pollinator for our crops and plants. Bees and other species are responsible for about 15% of Malta’s agricultural produce but this has been in decline for years. recently it has been discovered that around 60% fewer bee colonies are present than there were 20 years ago (Malta Beekeepers’ Association, 2018).
